I tell my friends who no longer live here about all the positive happenings going on now, Syracuse is a city on the move upward. I believe in this town." - Marilyn A

"If you need a visual of why the city of Syracuse is an amazing city. Go to Rosamond Gifford Zoo, go to the highest parking lot, and look. This place has so much potential, promise, and hope. I have never, ever been bored or have had a hard time finding something to do here. Why do I believe in Syracuse, because it's a city where I believe I can make my dreams into a reality." - Ben B

"I have been watching it grow and reinvent itself over the past decade or so and just knew it could do it! I am glad to see forward thinkers taking charge and helping this phoenix rise from the ashes. It is thrilling."- Kathleen S

I believe in Syracuse because it’s a community that offers everything from sports, arts, food, clothing and opportunities for people to work, get an education and pursue their dreams. Syracuse has given me many opportunities that I’ve taken advantage of and I believe that if it can happen for me, it can happen for everyone!

Central New York is the heart of the Empire State. All roads don’t lead to Rome, that is just a little down I-90, they lead to Syracuse. Since I was short enough to walk through Coleman’s Leprechaun door, Syracuse has always held a special place in my heart.

It really is a crossroads of cultures. Strong ties to such dynamic ancestry gives the city its flavor. Pun very well intended. This is NOT your typical Rust Belt City. Open the paper and you can find hundreds of things to keep you occupied.

If you give the ’Cuse a chance, you will be heavily rewarded. I am proud of my city and glad to be a part of it.
