Now in 2015 we have a free internet tool called Nextdoor that allows those neighbors who care about their community to communicate on a free, private social network for their own neighborhood. This empowers all residents to organize neighborhood cleanups, stay informed about issues like crime and public safety and even help find lost pets.
I live in Eastwood and my neighbors on Nextdoor have been wanting to get together for some time now. We also want to invite all Central New Yorkers who care about their neighborhood to come, buy a sandwich at Brooklyn Pickle and learn about Nextdoor. We're meeting Tuesday 1/13 at 6PM. Can you make it? Click Here and then RSVP.
When: Tuesday January 13th from 6-8PM
Where: Brooklyn Pickle, 2222 Burnet Ave, Syracuse
On the east side of Syracuse alone there are already 14 neighborhood groups with over 800 residents signed up. Together we can modernize the way neighbors connect and improve their quality of life. Join us Tuesday and RSVP at the URL below:
P.S. - we can't wait for our 2nd Birthday Party Jan. 29th at Sky Armory! Big news: we will be giving away our first ever Believe in Syracuse awards! This is going to be big! Click here and RSVP before it's too late.
